The Great Collection Sūtra: A Translation of the Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra, Volume Two. This volume offers a complete translation of fascicles 14-30, or sections VIII-XII of the Mahāvaipulya Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra, the Great Extensive Collection Sūtra. This collection of closely related sūtras is probably one of the earliest compilations of Mahāyāna sūtras. It offers insights on the doctrines of emptiness, through the metaphor of space and inexhaustibility, the paradoxes of bodhisattva practice, the Mahāyāna reinterpretation of foundational Buddhist categories and doctrines, the continued confrontation with and redemption of Māra, eschatology and the age of decline, the technology of dhāraṇīs and magical protection techniques, the mutability of gender and the body, the sanctification of secular knowledge, hermeneutics and the "holographic" nature of the Dharma and many more. It was translated by Alexander James O'Neill (sections VIII-X & XII) and Dharmacakṣus Āloka (section XI).

The Avalokiteśvara Cintāmaṇicakra Dhāraṇī Sūtra is an Esoteric Mahāyāna sūtra that gained popularity in China in the late Seventh and early Eighth Centuries. This book is a critical translation of that sūtra by Alexander James O’Neill, based on four eighth-century Chinese witnesses by Śikṣānanda, Manicintana, Bodhiruci, and Yijing. The sutra presents the core incantations (dhāraṇī) of Avalokiteśvara in three forms. It provides a detailed ritual manual for their use, covering both accessible recitations for karmic purification and complex esoteric rites. These advanced practices include instructions for thirty distinct mudras (hand gestures), the construction of a mandala, a homa (fire offering), and the compounding of three progressive medicines for wearing, ingesting, and applying to the eyes to achieve worldly and spiritual powers. Using Bodhiruci’s translation as the base text, this edition integrates variant readings from the other three versions. It uses different font styles for comparative analysis.
